We are delighted to inform everyone that Carol Varlaam has been appointed as the new Lay representative on the CCG’s Board. Following on from her successful interview, she has taken over that role from Jeremy Ambache, who resigned from the Board to take up his new role as a Labour Councillor in Wandsworth .  Already a seasoned patient champion, in south west London and as well as being the Lay Person on the Board, Carol also chairs the PPI Reference Group, the committee that is charged with delivering the CCG’s  plans on how to engage with patients, carers and the public in Wandsworth.

A big thank you to Jeremy for all the work that he did championing the patient and carer in Wandsworth, but safe in the knowledge that PPI is in good hands with Carol. Welcome aboard!  And if any of you out there are interested in joining Carol on the PPI Reference Group as a patient repsentative there are two vacancies!  Check out the link below!
