Residents invited to market stalls and coffee with NHS Wandsworth CCG
Wandsworth residents and community groups are warmly invited to NHS Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group's (CCG) first annual general meeting AGM; and the presentation of our first annual report on Wednesday 24 September at our new offices in East Putney.
Taking inspiration from Wandsworth's status as home to New Covent Garden market, residents will be able to talk to experts at market stalls showcasing Wandsworth CCG's work.  Residents will be able to give their views at market stalls covering the CCG's work on: Nine Elms Vauxhall regeneration, the out of hospital programme and shift of care to the community, self-management of long-term conditions, NHS 111 and out of hours primary care services, prescribing and medicines management, Healthwatch Wandsworth, the primary care development programme, the CCG's plans for patient and public involvement, South West London Collaborative Commissioning programme, Wandsworth public health and Battersea, Wandle and West Wandsworth localities.
The market stalls will be followed by the formal AGM and discussion of Wandsworth CCG's first Annual Report and Accounts for 2013-2014.  As part of the AGM, the CCG Board will take questions from residents about the CCG's first year of work and future plans for improving healthcare in Wandsworth.
The afternoon will also feature fun fundraising, with Wandsworth CCG and local charity Paul's Cancer Support Centre working together to help raise money at the AGM for people living with cancer, as part of Macmillan Cancer's world's biggest coffee event.
The event starts at 2pm and residents are advised to book by calling Emma-Jane Leslie on 020 8812 6600/020 8871 5096 or via:
