Paul’s Cancer Support Centre

In March I visited Paul’s Cancer Support Centre in Battersea. This charity helps anyone affected by cancer, not just those with cancer but families, friends and health care professionals too.

Some of the services they provide include support groups, a telephone support line, Macmillan information service, lots of groups and classes and a wide variety of one to one counselling.

I was really taken by the feeling of calm when I walked into the building. The centre is an oasis in the middle of bustling Battersea.

After talking to the staff and the people that use the centre I couldn’t agree more with them that this is a fantastic service which supports so many people.

Wandsworth CCG is one of the organisations that supports this amazing charity by commissioning services from them and I can see that this has a huge impact on patients with cancer and their families.
