Access to services at The Junction Health Centre is changing
Are you living or working in and around the Clapham Junction area? Do you use walk-in services at the Junction Health Centre? We want to hear from you.
The local NHS (Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group) is currently reviewing walk-in services on the site to ensure patients are receiving timely and consistent care, in the most appropriate way. As part of this, we are proposing to use the capacity in the current walk-in service to increase the number of appointments available through the GP hub service. We feel this will improve care for patients, for several reasons.
Between January 16th and March 1st 2019 we are seeking views about our plans for the service. We want to hear your experiences, and those of people you may support, especially:
- people with experience of homelessness
- parents, guardians and carers of young children
- people who experience difficulties communicating their health care needs, for example people with Learning Disabilities
- people who have alternative communication and access needs
You can read more about the project in our engagement leaflet.
