The group is made up of doctors leading on mental health in Wandsworth, as well as other leading doctors for older people, substance misuse or young people, CCG and Council mental health commissioners, service user and carer representatives, mental health providers and other key stakeholders such as the Black and Minority Ethnic Forum.

Our priority areas are:

Inpatient mental health consultation

The inpatient mental health services public consultation closed on 21 December 2014. This consultation was led by Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) working with Merton, Sutton, Richmond and Wandsworth CCGs and NHS England, alongside South West London & St George's Mental Health NHS Trust.

The aim of the proposals is to enhance the quality of clinical care and improve the experience for service users and carers, whilst bringing the Trust into line with current guidance and best practice.

Read the Report to mental health commissioning bodies and to South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust.
